Acorn Street in Boston - Most Photographed Street!

The city of Boston is always changing. One of the (somewhat) recent developments is that many instagrammers have made Boston a must-see destination. From the historic Fenway Park to the lovely Quincy Market, these are some of the prettiest locations in the city. Whether you’re visiting or living in Boston, there are plenty of locations worthy of a photo on your next Instagram post. No matter what you’re looking for, Boston has an Instagram-worthy location for you!

Worcester Street

Did you know the most photographed house in Boston was located in the South End neighborhood on Worcester Street? I lived there for a couple of years and actually had no idea. I passed by this place all of the time! The small brick exterior home is the perfect blend of old charm. The blue garage door is just stunning, and altogether this makes for a fantastic backdrop that captures the essence of Boston.

Louisburg Square, Beacon Hill

This is a classic Beacon Hill location. The gas lanterns, the brick sidewalks, and the gorgeous greenery make it feel like you’re living in a fairytale. It’s no wonder this is one of the most popular places to take photos in Boston! The beautiful homes once housed some of the city’s upper-class families, and now they provide the perfect backdrop for an elegant photo. I love walking through this area because it’s generally quieter than Acorn Street and has the most beautiful flowers growing on and around the brownstone homes.

Location: Louisburg Square Park

The Skinny House

The Skinny House is one of the most unique homes in Boston and also the narrowest. It’s only 10 feet wide and 30 feet deep, which makes for some very interesting photos! The home was built in 1874 by two brothers who were feuding over the property their mother left them. As you can imagine, the home is quite narrow and definitely doesn’t follow the standard rectangular shape. If you’re looking for something a little different, the Skinny House is definitely worth checking out.
